As a longtime LM member / buyer of points, I am not buying this round as I have a large stock (mainly due to recently cancelling a few awards due to health issues). IMO if LM could fix their basic and very frustrating issues they would have more success - my priorities include: show online all *A award seats/routes that are available (e.g. as shown by Aeroplan), allow SQ when available (in particular to/from Australian cities), show routes with layovers up to 24 hours and add the ability to cancel awards online.
Unlike most others on this forum, I am not interested in 'tricks' - even in the hey day (when I was aware of most of them) I never considered using them. Also, for Australian based members - the falling $AUD combined with program devaluations has made all award travel using purchased miles not nearly as attractive as a year or two ago. For example, I value LMs at $AUD.025 so a return ticket SYD-YVR (one of my regular routes) is about $AUD4000 - right now I can fly with AC or QF (non-stop) during July /August for $AUD5600 - higher yes, but I can book the dates I want and earn points for the trip. Recently nearly all airlines which fly across the Pacific were offering SYD-LAX return for $AUD4500.

Buying at the maximum bonus rate (25% for 101k with $3333 spent) represents a 2.2% discount ($14.67 /k) from the cash + miles offer ($15/k), if you already have the miles in your account. If I'm wrong on this, someone please help me out.

I registered using the link from an earlier post for the 135% bonus promotion.
But when I tested it by typing in 150K for purchase, it only shows 187K as the bonus. Did it accept my registration?
