I agree. It sure looks like several airlines have increased the intervals between bonuses over the last year or two; it would be a pleasant surprise if something were to be announced in April (ie in a few hours).
I am hoping for 30% BA, but not expecting anything for a while.

last bonus was only 20% and was 4 months after the previous offer.
this time we are 3 1/2 months (and counting) without a bonus... not a good sign!

AMEX transfer bonuses are the only reason I keep my cards...
DL and BA are my only real options, and DL bonuses seem to be completely gone.

I have a feeling we won't see very many bonuses anymore, and the ones we do will be quite small because of the new Everday cards.
The idea of AmEx forking over 5.85 avios per dollar spent at grocery stores on the new card (If 50% bonus applies to bonus categories on Everyday Preferred... 4.5x + 30% bonus to Avios) seems unlikely to me.
Although the idea of buying three $500 GC at a supermarket and having enough for a round trip short haul flight on AA via Avios sounds great to me.
---
What they could do if they do decide to get rid of bonuses is make them available only to Plat/Cent cardholders, with the benefit erosion those products have had and the lack of bonus spend categories that could drive people back to those cards and the $450 annual fee.

When there is a USA airline transfer bonus I replace this thread with the thread announcing the bonus:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ameri...30-2014-a.html
This thread will become sticky again when there is no current bonus.

Many times they begin within a a day or two of each other.
BA offers tend to run for 1-2+ months, while other offers are much shorter.

BA is currently offering a 30% transfer bonus through Diners Club (Canada and USA). The offer was supposed to have started on 4.1.2014, but was only published yesterday. It runs to 5.31.2014.
While this does not tell us when the Membership Rewards offer will run, I do think it tells us the likely amount of the bonus.
