This may be a silly question. AMEX is doing a 20% transfer bonus promotion to Choice Privileges right now. Does this preclude them from running a concurrent promotion for an airline? (Hopefully 40%+ for BA

)

Logged on Membership Rewards this morning and sure enough, both bonuses are up (BA 20%, VS 30%). I wished the BA bonus was a lot higher.

Same here. If it was 30% I'd make a speculative transfer (took advantage of the recent 35%). 20% = me staying on the sidelines for now.

So the wiki says Virgin America has a 30% transfer bonus 10/15/2013 to 11/30/2013. I can't find it anywhere on the MR website. Did somebody confuse Virgin Atlantic with Virgin America or am I missing something here?

Is this the consensus on the board? I'm a Cdn Plat who's going to be on DL a little going forward, I value a DL point at 80% of AP point, that combined with the 1:1 vs 1:0.75 transfer makes it a brutal sell for DL miles. Even a 25% MR>DL bonus would make it bearable.
