Anyways, I'll be interested to see how AA prices the tickets to ACY via PHL bus.

Many times, AA offers fares to ABE less than PHL. I've seen RDU-CLT-ABE as an example, less expensive than any RDU-PHL nonstop or connect via CLT as it appears to have a premium that PHL is a hub. But that might be the case on random one-ways here and there but just something that I noticed.
Indeed. I have to be in ABE next month (before the PHL<-->ABE bus connector launches) and DCA-CLT-ABE round trips are pretty reasonable.

Bus service that arrives air side is probably the second best thing to having AA officially here in ACY. I'm hoping that this also shows up on other Oneworld airline schedules, but i won't hold by breath.
There may not be many biz travelers, but I now have a client in ABE and it could be a better alternative than driving from DCA (ugh) or the DCA-CLT-ABE route I'm currently looking at. Traffic poses a challenge to catching connections back at PHL, I suppose.

As there’s already a thread discussing this topic, I’ll merge this in. Going forward, please check whether there’s an extant thread before starting a new one. Many thanks!

I'm hoping for the ABE-PHL-ACY casino junket. They'll give you $20 in quarters and 500 LPs.
If you put in ABE-ACY on AA.com, it only gives you MDT/LGA/JFK-PHL options even if you don't check nearby airports.

$275 at twice the time of simply driving, and factor in time to deal with airports, doesn't sound reasonable at all to me. Depending where in Allentown you'll be going, you'll probably need a vehicle, which will add to both the time and expense.

One time when I was flying back to AVP, there were some guys on the PHL-AVP flight who did something like that. The FA's had a good laugh about it, and even told the gate agents at AVP, who continued to give them a hard time.

Me and the AVP guys are probably a rare breed. I'll do it in a pinch but I hate driving long distances and know I won't be at my best after 3.5 hours behind the wheel. So there is a premium I'd pay for someone else to do the piloting. Time-wise, I can also work if not driving so that goes into my calculus.

As of today, not seeing any of the ACY flights loaded in. Shows up in the schedule though.

The ACY-PHL-SEA (my typical route is between PHL and SEA) looks super reasonable:

It takes me an hour and a half to get to PHL, so choose your poison.

Ride the bus to the airport

Beginning June 3, transportation company Landline will connect Philadelphia International Airport, one of American’s hubs, to Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) and Atlantic City International Airport (ACY). Tickets for those trips with Landline service will be available starting today.

What does the "seatmap" show for the bus route?! Do you have to pay extra for seats located away from the driver and away from the rear restroom?! (asking for a friend....)

I wish they'd offer a bus to RDG. US dropped RDG service years ago and it's just gotten harder and harder and harder to get from Reading to PHL Airport.

It says the seat map is "unavailable". So I am not sure if that is holding up loading that into the flight schedules.

I also do not know if they have first class, premium and coach seating, charge extra for emergency hatch rows, etc.
