When I did the CO ABE-EWR bus, it was definitely not a motorcoach, and there was definitely not a lav onboard. It wasn't a school bus, but was definitely not luxury. Of course that was some time ago, so perhaps it has improved.

Yes, and if you looked at the announcement, it shows a partnership with Landline, and a motorcoach bus.
The CO (now UA) EWR-ABE bus is not the same. They use a shuttle type bus.

And I would like to see a similar service from MDT (or ideally the Harrisburg Amtrak Station.)

ODD new service announcement via a pictorial sign
I was in ACY (Atlantic City Airport), there was an electric sign noting: "starts June 3", the image was a BUS with a picture of an AA plane covering the entire right side.
Is AA introducing bus service to ACY starting June 3?
[I just did a GOOGLE search,, AA will be running ai
r service between PHL (and other locales) and ACY]

I didn't know about this existing thread when I posted #65.
Caesars and Hardrock casinos run charters from lots of east coast cities to ACY, these are 30 seat planes, there is no interaction with TSA. Borgata had a similar arrangement but will be using 170 seat planes via SUNCOUNTRY from as far away ad TEXAS.
Pre-Covid Greyhound ran "casino" service between PHL directly to select casinos. When PA legalized gambling, lots of PAers
gambled locally, does AA expect lots of pax to "fly
" between PHL and ACY?

Still not bookable. At this rate, that bus on June 3 is going to be awfully empty.
I kinda wonder if they are waiting for some sort of approval from TSA or one of the ports before they actually make it bookable.
A lot of local folks here are either forced to fly Spirit or drive 1-1.5 hours to the airport, neither of which are a great option. ACY and even WWD have had sporadic aviation service over the years. There is a market, although smaller.

Apparently so. There must be enough people who live in the ACY catchment area for AA to think that there will be support for such a service.

I have to travel to ACY for business somewhat regularly. This is definitely a welcome alternative considering Spirit was the only airline serving the airport, and the drive out of PHL is not a fun one.

Fly the bus from ACY-PHL-ABE for only $1,971 in coach class one-way
Due to the shortage of qualified pilots and flight crews, American Airlines (ACY-PHL-ABE) 5-hour, 25-minute travel connecting through Philadelphia using exclusive bus service operated by The Landline Company as American Eagle departs from Atlantic City, New Jersey, connects in Philadelphia then departs to Allentown/ Bethlehem/ Easton, Pennsylvania for only $1,971 each way beginning June 3, 2022. So if you love the smell of diesel fumes in the morning, long bus rides, and want to squander your time and travel money, you will adore this new service offered by American Airlines.

Travel by bus operated by The Landline Company as American Eagle service from ACY to ABE
American Airlines ACY to ABE connecting in Philadelphia by bus and operated by The Landline Company as American Eagle on June 3, 2022, is very expensive.
