I’ve been to JFK twice since it reopened. A couple of weeks ago, they seemed to have all the wines.
This week, the first two red wines I ordered were not available (they happened to be the two most expensive ones on the list).
I’m sure AA would cite supply chain issues if I inquired further, so I haven’t bothered, but they already devalued the drink selection from the initial menu on offer when FFD reopened, so I’m really hoping the trend won’t continue.

Ultimately it worked out. Plane was a bit late and I got there at 9:15 pm. AAgents consulted among themselves as to when FFD closed (they were told 10:00, even though officially it’s 10:30). Escorted to FFD and was the only customer for the hour-plus I was there, letting my checked bag gather dust on the carousel. Fine food and liquor as you’d expect. My appetite was modest after feasting on the plane (including ice cream sundaes once again). Had a couple of nicely cooked fish dishes. They were out of all but one red wine…..

I was at ORD on 11/28 and the staff there said that January 2022 was "maybe" the earliest that the ORD Flagship Lounge would open. My next flight is through LAX on 12/21 so I am hoping that the Qantas lounge will be open by then. It's incredibly frustrating that AA can't get DFW / LAX / ORD open anytime soon. It's great that JFK and MIA are open for the folks who fly through there but for those of us flying elsewhere I can't be the only one fed up with cheese cubes, hummus and no premium beverages!

Still remember how surprised I was when AA beat UA to reopen FL before Polaris.
Two months later UA has opened IAD Polaris, reopened EWR and IAH, and as of today ORD. LAX and SFO are on track targeting January 22.
ORD/DFW/LAX FLs, on the other hand, do not even have an announced reopening date.

United gave Polaris business customers a card for (sometimes, unlimited) premium drink at United Clubs when Polaris lounges were closed.

Its pathetic that a J international boarding pass doesn't get you free drinks at the bar.

Yes, I experienced this out of Newark this past summer to Paris. That United Club was pathetic... Ramen noodles and the occasional pigs in a blanket.

AA-Recognizing the PRICE of everything (excluding customer satisfaction), and not knowing the VALUE of anything on a daily basis.
Looking forward to a boarded up FL in DFW, and god knows what in MIA on the 15th. (End of sarcasm)
Everyone please fly safely, no matter what airline, the weather, or who is in charge.
