Although there is a huge difference between BOS-LHR & PHX-LHR

BOS-LHR is served ( would be served ) by all three alliances and their joint venture partners: AA, BA, DL, UA, VS and JetBlue would be joining them.

On PHX-LHR oneworld is a monopoly and for the forseeable future a BA 787/350 3 or 4 weekly would be able to handle the demand without AA operating this route and deploying a wide-body at PHX.

After 17 August that wouldn't be the case. PHX-HNL goes from x2 daily to x1 daily and the single flight would be operated by an Oasis A321neo.

BA now restarts on August 9th, AA remains on Oct 30th - for now...There is incredible demand to LHR at the end of August, I've never seen so many Business class flights sold out 2 months in advance. I guess it is all the cancellations and folks bumping trips 2-3 months later.

BA now restarts non stops on August 16th continuing the pattern of pushing the flight back weekly by 7 days or so, with the first F class service on August 30th

Can't see it opening until quarantine rules are relaxed for US travellers arriving in the UK.

Is PHX-LHR still on schedule? Hope they resume flight.

Did UK relaxed quarantine rules? Please no more quarantine!

UK removed the quarantine for vaccinated individuals. That said, I don’t see AA reinstating this anytime soon. Maybe next summer.
