As of 9/21:
Flights under 900 miles
Flights over 2,200 miles* / over 4.5 hours
**Some domestic and short-haul international flights will include a fruit and cheese plate instead of tray meal service and will also have snack basket service before landing.

fly747first notation (official) MIA LAX on 772 receives full meal and amenities as Flagship Business except for lounge access

After two truly abysmal flights on DL (read here: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/33461517-post379.html), I am tickled to be back on AA. Currently aboard Envoy 4254 PWM-DCA, enjoying a guilt-free second double Woodford & diet Dr. Pepper with four ten-gram bags of Love Corn. Which is more (on a sub-500-mile regional) than DL could offer on a 6-hour flight to Vegas.
I signed up for the DL status match challenge and will get to "enjoy" platinum medallion until January 2023... but I sure hope I don't actually have to.

MCO-CLT-DCA | F = Proactive doubles (G&T) and snack packets on both. They were a little late serving them though so on flights of ~1hr duration I was rushing through the second mini, you'd have had ~15 mins to down your drink if you were in the back of F.
Also, I can't believe this needs to be said, but for goodness sake do not travel if you're exhibiting COVID symptoms. There was multiple people, including my seat mate, coughing up a storm on both flights.

But the scarcer resource is actually the Diet Dr. Pepper, there seem to be 2 lone cans (one up front and one in the back) on many regional flights.
Oh come on now it's just Woodford, not Willett or Weller's! Try it some time!

Are you in F? I've probably done 60-80 legs on sub-500-mile regionals (though admittedly they tend to be 400+ mile routes) during covid... in the previous phase it was "on request" and things were kind of YMMV but I never had too much trouble... recently it's been back to full service where most of the FAs have even been mixing the drinks in the galley and bringing them out poured with a stir-stick in them.

I had a Mardi Gras shirt on a couple of weeks ago on an eagle flight DCA-CMH and the flight attendants loved it and served me 3 drinks on the short flight!

Have been in F for quite a large number of them, and haven't seen drink service. Although most of my shorter flights were before June, so maybe I missed the cutoff when they brought back drink service. I know there was "by request" service for a while, but at that point asking for a drink was more trouble than it was worth.

I have flown MIA-EYW and EYW-MIA many many times this year. When it was operated by Republic, drink services were rare even pre covid. Once the e175 base at MIA switched to Envoy, I have yet to not get a drink service.

In short, there was nothing remotely “Premium” about the experience.

Republic before the changes were hit or miss, with either crews going above and beyond or outright refusing service when asked. Post changes they seem to have gotten better, at least in F, can't speak for Y.
