I bought a BA ticket marketed/operated and on BA ticket stock in July. Just completed the trip this weekend and it counted towards my Plat Pro challenge with the appropriate EQD and EQM.

The wiki and initial discussion only mentions the original offer, which required travel by late May and provided status through Jan 2020.

I don't think so. It shows up in the app. I just requalified on the 21st, I got my email on yesterday and haven't gotten my mail packet yet (it will come in a couple weeks) so I think you're still good.

I met the gold qualification on Aug 18th and it's still saying Gold until Sept 25th. I'm not expecting that to update until the 25th at least when the challenge closes. Should meet the platinum part by then anyway, so if it takes a few days I'm ok with it.
Interesting thing I noted too. I have more than 12.5K EQMs at the moment but didn't get 4 more e500s. Apparently it's since being raised to elite. I was wondering why it was requiring 14.5k EQMs at first, then I remember my first 2k EQMs were as a gate louse.
