Thanks for confirming it is the 12 YO. As I posted on the other thread last year, BA has been serving two versions, one without a barrel age stsatement (though I believe by Scottish law it must be at least 8 years in the cask) and the other the 12 YO. UA has just added Glenfarclas as it's single malt option, so nice to know both airlines have woken up to changing tastes ... and a general disdain for Dewars White Label.

Yep they had it catered on AA 104 last night. Worked like a charm in putting me right to sleep

Does this mean you're no longer outraged that this is being called a 12 year old single malt?

My wife enjoyed Glenlivet on the ZRH-JFK on June 2. The FA said it was the first time she had seen it in years.

It means I'm pleased that 12 yo is being served versus the airline/cruise ship/duty free store formula. Two different products.

Struck out on my DFW-SJC flight over the weekend. The FAs had no clue what Glenlivet or Scotch was.

They probably thought you meant "tape".

No Glenlivet in coach on PDX-DFW flight today, but they took pity on me and gave me a free Dewars for my troubles.

(Awesome) FA in Coach told me Glenlivet is only stocked in F cabin but went up to the forward cabin anyway to try to find one for my (last-minute) 29D seat. No luck but on the next leg (in F) an equally awesome FA scored me 3 minis. Kept one for an emergency (don't tell anyone).

Someone else did report it available in Main Cabin. I hope that's true. I'll be on a flight later this year, would love to try it.
