Hallelujah, Amen! I wonder how many minis they're loading per flight. I thought I'd heard that only one would be loaded, but perhaps I'm wrong.

It appears at least 2. I saw 2 served on each of the occasions I saw it, and in all 3 cases they came from the same catering cart.

I ordered one last week, and the FA asked if I wanted both (they had only 2 catered) so I could have a second one in case they ran out.

Alas, laddie, I missed you! Welcome back!

Glenlivet was withdrawn from AA service late 2013. The archived thread is

Wow - this is a pretty positive change actually. Hard to believe AA flew didn't offer a single malt in int'l J or F.

You people are kidding yourself if you think you are drinking 12 year old single malt. Wake up!

It's what's offered.

And it was gone for a while, now, thankfully, it's back.
So who cares?

It's not a tasting room nor a scotch class, it's not The Brandy Library. It's an airplane. And on AA this is as good as it's ever gonna get.

Springbank forever!

12 YO single malt is what was previously served. It has little to do with what is served today. Glenlivet + other distilleries have created a product for sale in duty free shops, planes and ships that is otherwise not to be found.
