On par? They're both very good decent priced bourbon.

Don't want to get too off-topic, and it doesn't really matter, but it's just two spellings of the same term. Like "color" and "colour." They don't actually have different meanings. Just that Americans tend to spell it "whiskey" and Brits tend to spell it "whisky."

Negative. The spelling has much more of an implication than just how people spell it. In Britain, both whiskey and whisky are used, when describing a whiskey and a whisky, respectively.

Noticed it listed in the Flagship menu for my flight on the 4th but not until the end of the flight as I was clearing it away. Mini bottle in the photo looks different than the ones served on DL. As for The Glenlivet, as I posted on one of the other threads, BA has continued to provision their business class with it, though there have been two bottling so, one aged and the other not specified, one with a maroon cap the other a black one.

It was on my LHR-LAX flight a couple days ago. They even printed it on the J drink menu.

On my Eagle flight on Sunday night, I enjoyed a Woodford! I was told that they only had four minis on board/flight.

Exactly. Different beasts. Not just different spellings.

Was a happy Reserve camper this weekend. Since these were pmUS flights (SFO-CLT-LGA), we were offered PDB on every flight. Even the one where they boarded us, got word of a 1 hour ground hold (CLT-SFO) and deplaned us for a bit. Got 1 as a PDB. Ordered another in-flight and got 1 in the glass, and an "extra" with a wink. Did this on 3 of 4 legs.

Cheers.

I prefer Woodford to Makers but there are multiple camps on that topic.

I'm guessing the AC still has plastic bottle crap for free?

Yup, engine degreaser is still available at no cost at ACs. Overseas stations tend to have a slightly better selection, for engines with a more discerning taste.
