Not yet. According to the terms of the promo, they were to be deposited 6-8 weeks from March 31. 8 weeks from March 31 will be May 26, so hopefully, they'll post on Monday!

UPDATE: I called BE on the 27th & the rep said they expected the points to post this week or next. She, too, thought they should have by the 26th, but perhaps as others have mentioned they may get posted at the end of the month (or up to the 15th of the following).

I haven't received the bonus points yet, but all my "friends" did receive their 1,000.

Thanks,
I redeemed a certificate for a free domestic award and that code was delivered immediately via email, so as soon as the award space became available I redeemed, got the certificate and called to book. I know the domestic upgrade is a paper certificate that arrives in the mail, but I assume that a domestic first class redemption code is available immediately via email just like my coach was. Can anyone else confirm? If not sure I would just call BE to confirm.

thanks for the information. Do you know usually how long it takes the paper voucher to arrive in mail? My flight is in one month and just finished the redemption online.

I had used two of these for a connecting itinerary today LAX-DFW-TPA. I checked in and the agent stapled them to the boarding pass and voided them with today's travel date and itinerary as instructed.

We boarded LAX-DFW so the certificate was pulled by the agent working the flight. We left the gate and 4 hours later returned, having never left the ground, due the weather in Dallas. I subsequently cancelled my trip.

Agent at the airport said I could theoretically re-use the invalidated voucher that was still attached and wrote a little note on it but the other one was long gone since it had already been pulled during boarding.

What is the process here - should I bother calling BusinessExtra to replace them?

To circle back on this specific topic, I contacted the BusinessExtrAA folks with the story and it was acknowledged within 48 hours and they dispatched replaced upgrade certificates which I received this week along with a clearly customized note to me (referencing the airport situation, cancelled flight). Outstanding service from that team.

bedelman, thank you for your advice and glad I listened to you!

Does anyone know what's the BusinessExtra change fee for PlanAhead awards? Not the $150 redeposit fee, but the change fee to make changes to the itinerary. Their site doesn't have an amount.
Thanks,

Book the flight, then request the award, unless it is the end of the year and points are expiring
The award code is emailed to you

I received 3,000 points for the refer-a-friend, yet I referred 5 friends. Weird.

Best to call this morning when the office opens. Perhaps they can expedite delivery.

Thanks,
Yes, any changes get dinged for the $150. (Don't believe points can be redeposited.) And no exceptions for ExecPlats. The only benefit is that the new booking must be made within a year of the date the original ticket was issued, which means this is one way of extending the life of expiring points.

I haven't redeemed a Business Extra award before, nor have I seen an answer to the following question answered in this topic thread:

Are Business Extra PlanAhead and Anytime roundtrip awards only valid for travel on American metal, or can they be redeemed for awards on OneWorld carriers as well?

[perhaps this can be added to wiki?]

Same for me. I wonder if two accounts didn't qualify or what the story is...

AA metal only, I think. From the terms:

Award travel valid ONLY on American Airlines/American Eagle/AmericanConnection

...

Awards are valid only for tickets issued on American Airlines ticket stock.
