Apparently US Airways flights are now eligible for BE earn, provided the ticket is on AA (001) stock.

Exclamation Where to post referral codes and promo questions

Please do not post offers or requests for Valentine's Day 2014 referral codes in this thread. There is a dedicated thread for that purpose:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ameri...er-2014-a.html

There is also a separate thread for discussion of promotions and point postings, to which mromero07's post has been moved:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ameri...solidated.html

This thread is for general discussion of the logistics of the BE program.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Anyone have any luck with a US Air flight on 03 stock eligible for BE earn?

Has anyone tried using a BX1A (North America award) on an itinerary involving a US Airways flight? I don't think this is allowed yet, even on 001 stock, but maybe someone's tried?

ETA: I called this morning and was told that you can't yet utilize these with US Airways flights. AA metal only.

A long time ago there was a discussion on whether AA flights using discount codes earn BE points. Apparently they do not, and this information is actually in the flight activity information in the account summary. I found this yesterday after sending a message to BE asking why I didn't get points.
Of course, today I got an email saying the points will be credited tomorrow.

In my experience, BE is horrible. Flight activity never seems to post correctly for me and when I ask why, no one at BE can give me a legitimate response. I constantly receive a form note that explains what a qualifying flight is, and none of the reason for exclusion (e.g., discount, partner airline etc.) apply.

BE points are not earned when a corporate discount is applied. Even on higher fares -- it's annoying but it is stated somewhere in the BE rules.

Question - Can we use our BX1B awards to book an open-jaw? For example, I leave LAX > JFK on the red-eye 1 June and return JFK > LAX on 1 October? I saw in the T+C that it cannot be booked as a multi-city ticket or a ticket with an open return, but saw nothing about an open-jaw.

What you describe is not an Open Jaw. It's a simple roundtrip.

Good catch. The return city is MIA > LAX in Oct.

You can't even earn BE points on US flights unless booked with AA ticket stock. Really unfair since many itineraries won't price that way.

I don't understand why a ticket on AA stock prices at $100,- more than the one on US stock. Aren't those prices supposed to be aligned between carriers?
