Correct me if im wrong but its on AA 001 ticket stock if you purchase from AA.com. with that being the case use the "all airlines" search function to buy US coded and metal flights on AA ticket stock to get BE points. Ive done that alot and by definition its on AA 001 ticket stock.
Ugh. I came here to ask whether I could earn BE points on a US-coded flight, because the AA-coded version of the same exact flights are more expensive. And I guess there's my answer.
Not cool guys.

I'm glad I was able to help. The "ticket stock" versus "coded flight" for "metal" becomes confusing. I've honestly never seen any airline ever talk about "ticket stock" outside of this. Clearly somewhere in the Revenue Accounting process is where BE points get decided, and AA won't process the Revenue Accounting of non-001 ticket stock.

OK, this is a question regarding something odd I just saw in my company's profile and doesn't have to do anything with the recent promotion requesting referrals etc:
I was just checking my "company profile" tab and saw that below the business information section and the business address section there is a small section with the "referral code" information (the one you used originally when you signed up to BE).
I did mine in 2011 and this section now is showing me a field that I can update (that was never the case). Should I try using one of the new referrals codes as if I was "signing up" again? Am I the only one with this editable field ?

I know! Usually they come with these bonuses (2000 points up to 5000 bonus points) after enrolling and doing a certain number of flights. I wonder if changing the referral code there will impact the points we have so far. It seems they never come with new promotions for members or they issue promos for international flights and don't consider local businesses!

Am I correct in understanding that if I redeem a BXP5 (Gold Status upgrade) today, it's only good until 2/28/15, but if I wait until July 1st to redeem, then it's good until 2/28/16?

Is it possible to add a BusinessExtra number to an AA 001 ticket stock that was booked via a TA? Or, is it required to book the ticket on AA.com to have any credit to BusinessExtra?
Also, if I want to use my AS FF# as the FF# for the ticket, can I still get BusinessExtra credit? Or, am I required to use my AA FF# in conjunction with the BusinessExtra number?

As for using a different FF program, I would assume so, but I have not had experience with it. I would guess that if your BusinessExtra account number is on the reservation, you can receive credit, regardless of FF number. Not completely sure though.

Question on the BXP1 upgrade certificates.
I had used two of these for a connecting itinerary today LAX-DFW-TPA. I checked in and the agent stapled them to the boarding pass and voided them with today's travel date and itinerary as instructed.
We boarded LAX-DFW so the certificate was pulled by the agent working the flight. We left the gate and 4 hours later returned, having never left the ground, due the weather in Dallas. I subsequently cancelled my trip.
Agent at the airport said I could theoretically re-use the invalidated voucher that was still attached and wrote a little note on it but the other one was long gone since it had already been pulled during boarding.
What is the process here - should I bother calling BusinessExtra to replace them?

Suggest you write in to BusinessExtrAA support. You have a compelling case for replacement, and I'd be shocked if BusinessExtrAA does not do so.

I am thinking about redeeming a domestic flight in first class, but there's no PlanAhead inventory yet.
I was wondering if I need to redeem the business extra points for the first class award speculatively? Or I can wait until there is award space open up? In other words, how long does it take to deliver the redemption code after the redemption online?
Thanks,
