I've been lurking on FT for the last year or so, and for whatever reason, I never had the inclination to sign up for an account.
Well, I'm proud to say that today, I surpassed 2 million miles (2,002,284 to be exact) with American Airlines! WOO HOO!!
I was able to make it, thanks in part from the tips I received from FT, a bunch of purchases on my AAdvantage credit card, and a little bit of flying here and there. Actually, it was a lot of flying, but who's counting!?
Anyway, I figured it was about time I get an account and pass along input, tips and tricks, and feedback to the others around here who helped me out.
So, thanks to all of FT, and here's to the next million!

I made it!
I just went over the 1MM mark on 5/23 - LAX-ORD. I have been a member for just over 10 years, but most of my activity has occurred within the last 3 years (combination of credit cards and 1 year at PLT and 2 at EXP). Looking forward to clearing 2MM and the extra VIPs, although with AA 73 and 72 canceled, I am not as happy as I normally would be with AA (typically fly to the islands 4-5x a year).

Just passed 1MM about a month ago. Enrolled in Dec of 1996. Made it though heavy flying for three years and topped off with starwood and marriott points. Don't travel as much anymore (thank goodness!) but value the perks with LT gold.

Just made 2MM!
I just made 2MM. Thanks to everyone here. So many of the miles came from sources I learned about here. I was pushed over the threshold by my Bank Direct account (which I learned about here^).

Passed 1MM last Friday, most of it in the last 3 years. Now sitting at 1,002,014 with a DCIR26 coming up this Friday.
