Your question is moot since there is no flagship lounge at DFW. Even if there were, you would not be permitted access based on this flight.

My original intent was to be on the inaugural international flight of the 788. However, when it became clear that the inaugural flights would be to PEK and EZE my enthusiasm for the adventure diminished considerably as neither Beijing nor Buenos Aries are my favorite cities for an extended weekend visit. Instead I decided to get a seat on the inaugural domestic flight of the 788 since it was to be from DFW to ORD. For me it was a “win-win” situation as Chicago is one of my favorite cities in the world. The problem was the sheer number of DFW to ORD flights and trying to decide which one might be the inaugural flight for the 788. I was on the inaugural flight (1343) of the A319 from DFW to CLT on September 16, 2013 and it was the first flight of the day to Charlotte. I was also on the inaugural flight (118) of the A321T from LAX to JFK on Jan. 7, 2014 and it was the first flight of the day to New York. Therefore, I thought it highly probable that the inaugural flight of the 788 would be the first flight of the day to ORD on May 7th. Somewhat confident, I went ahead and placed a multi-city itinerary that included flight 2320 on hold. I also picked seat 1A since I wanted 1A on the 788 and hoped that it would transfer over when the equipment changed from a 32B to the 788 (I learned my lesson the hard way last summer when I was a tad tardy in booking and had to settle for seat 2A on the inaugural flight 137 from DFW to HKG on June 11th). However, I became somewhat less confident in my decision as I read this thread about the inaugural flight and realized some people were betting on 2309 as being the flight that would get the nod. Needless to say, I was greatly relieved when JonNYC (post #68) confirmed that it would indeed be 2320. It all worked out in the end and I am presently ticketed on flight 2320 on May 7th in seat 1A on the 788. And yes, I guess being on these inaugural flights is a new hobby of mine. The next significant one is either going to be a brand new international destination and/or the international inaugural flight of the 789.

Of course you would, assuming you are oneworld emerald (non AA), such as BA Gold or CX Diamond. So I will qualify.

Anyway, happy to guest one individual into the FL in ORD once we land there, if that individual can also guest me into the Centurion lounge in DFW in the morning. PM me.

Fair enough. I may well be the only person on the flight to have both BA emerald and AA emerald. And for those who aren't in this position, that option may not even come to mind.

But the bottom line is that access is possible to FL

Seriously annoyed right now with both American and US Airways. Purchased my ticket yesterday with US Airways for $620 (2320 in Y, 2327 in F) and a $89 Dividend Miles multiplier. Searched for the same itinerary on AA.com, and it's pricing at $540. US Airways is refusing to refund the Dividend Miles Multiplier fee.

The question remains why am I so loyal to American. Very disgruntled at the minute.
