I'll be there, 2320 DFW-ORD currently 25A on the airbus map. Admirals club for me as well. I will be looking to meet up the night before in Dallas too if we coordinate a place and time near my hotel. I haven't booked yet but it will be a SPG, Marriott, or Hilton hotel with airport shuttle. if we can get to a bone daddy's I will be a very happy man. lol

Also, for those getting in before they close I would suggest heading to the American flight Academy where the AA Museum is. I went there at lunch almost everyday when I was at initial training with American Eagle..

Looking for tickets for the flight...cheapest round trip I've found from SFO or even directly is about $800

Looks like I'm skipping this inaugural.

It does show the B788.

When choosing seats, still shows the Airbus.

I should have put that in my edited comment as well as I as able to snag a one-way award ticket for 30K (on hold for now)...bit steep but I think its worth it to be on the inaugural flight.

AA just changed their seat map from the A32B, but it won't let people assign seats. Should I be worried? Is this just me?

AA 2320 flight doesn't appear to be currently available for booking and those that are on 2328, that flight now shows no seat map and no aircraft type, which indicates they'll be booked on to 2320 shortly.

I will not pretend to know anything, but I'd go for a window for a good view of the customary water cannon upon arrival at ORD.

EDIT: Ticketed and confirmed on 2320 in F. No seat assignment yet.

Currently have a roundtrip in F on hold for 2320 ORD - DFW and 2373 DFW - ORD. Not sure if I'm going to go for it or not.

If you were booked on AA 2328, you have now been moved to AS 2320. The seat map is showing up in GDS as, get this, a Fokker 100.
