Created this thread for those who WILL be on the inaugural flight May 7 out of DFW (currently expected to be AA 2320). Intent of forum mostly to discuss the flight and possibility of meeting each other at the gate!

I'm in! I'll be flying into Dallas the day before and would love to meet up with anyone else in town for the 2320 flight the next morning.

I was able to snag two seats early on. Don't want to purchase them unless confirmed but only have until midnight tonight - but they were pretty cheap and refundable. #firstworldproblems

Excellent! I fly in from EWR day before (May 6) and will be in Dallas around 12 noon.

What did you pay if you don't mind me asking? I paid $368 for 2320 through US website. Definitely #firstworldproblems lol!

You beat me. It was like 420 but the refundable one. "A" fare bucket

Ahh ok. Economy I assume? Did you also book through US site? Mine is also refundable, however my United flights to DFW and from ORD are not, so if for some reason 2320 isn't it, I have until tomorrow to cancel those lol. Mine was fare "M".

No first. I got it early on. Just made a wild guess when I saw the higher than average load in 1st.

I have 2320 on hold. Used 30k miles as fare is now $568. I know some will think it a crazy use of miles, but what the heck. There is only one inaugural flight!

I have a refundable economy M on hold for 368. Still not 100% in—for work reasons I'd probably have to take a red eye from SFO the night before.

Same here, I have it on hold, but today I'm talking with my boss to see if it will work out.
