Does anyone know who was filming or taking pictures in those two helicopters above the 2320 takeoff on May 7th? I bet they got some good views.

Has anyone else noticed a lack of decent cell service while on this plane on the ground, or is it just me? On my iPad and iPhone (both Verizon), I can barely get 3G while on the ground (taxiing and sitting at gate). I noticed this at DFW and at ORD. As soon as I stepped onto the jetway, my phone flipped to LTE, so I don't think it's just a bad service zone.

Why? If it actually blocked calls, then I might agree, but it doesn't. But it just stops me from browsing FlyerTalk before pushback...so sad.

So this is confirmed then, I guess. That's actually quite annoying, and will cause me to avoid this plane on domestics. It's bad enough during regular operations, but it sure would be frustrating to be stuck on the tarmac for an hour plus with no internet.

Edit: So for those whose phones are working, what's your phone/carrier?

I noticed AA 2334 (ORD-DFW) cancelled today (not just delayed)....anyone know why? I'm taking this flight later this month and as a frequent flyer, I know cancellations happen but like many others, I specifically routed myself via ORD to fly the 787 so that would be majorly disappointing
