I think Sony has had a really tough unloading these. This might part of a new strategy to get enough out there to create a small buzz.

LAX Flagship Lounge was still distributing these on 12.28.2007. We were flying LAX-MIA in F, three class service. We were not offered one, perhaps because we were travelling on award tickets, although they were AAnytime awards.

Per a discussion with the AAngel earlier this month, they are for specific routes - 1st class.

LAX-JFK ... i got one too
I was traveling J from LAX to JFK ... while checking into the AC downstairs the agent asked me to come with her ... she put me in the flagship lounge and presented me with a Ebook too ... a lot of fun to play with on the way back to NYC
