Only 2 entree choices in the last 6-7 years, even on the DFW/ORD non-stops -- before that I don't know.

DFW & ORD non-stops to/from Hawaii they do add:

Pre-arrival Snack - Fruit and Cheese
Pre-arrival Continental Breakfast - Warm scones with tropical fruit

Good advice!

It's actually really tasty... I would recommend smuggling in a couple of sachets of brown sauce (and perhaps a mini-bottle of Tabasco) and, provided the bacon is in a form that you can remove, you should find it a nice hearty breakfast.

Dinner

No PDB offered, definitely not due to lack of time as the was very light in Coach and 11/16 in F. Mixed nuts were lukewarm at best. Dinner was a choice of Chipotle Chicken, an old favorite, and Cheese Tortelini. The chicken was the spiciest I've had on a plane. I absolutely loved it, but its definitely not for every palate. A choice of white or wheat rolls was offered. The caramel cheesecake was tasty. Refills were regularly offered during dinner, but crew dissappeared as soon as the meal service finished.

Lunch

Choice of ham and turkey sandwich or chicken salad. I chose the latter. It was pretty tasty. The salad was quite fresh, though I wish they added a little something extra besides the iceberg lettuce and cherry tomatoes. Milano cookies are much better than the prepackaged brownie I got on my last Eagle lunch flight. Crew quite attentive.

AA #1821 - MIA to LAS

AA flight #1821 - MIA to LAS
breakfast

Pre departure beverage orders taken before pushing off from gate
Beverage orders taken after takeoff
Hot towels

Choice of:
Vegitable quiche
Crispex cereal w/ banana & fruit
Muffin or biscuit

Cereal came w/ plate of melon & catelope instead of small ramekin with berries (which I prefer) other than that, it's the same cereal breakfast. I didn't see the quiche since both SO & I ordered the cereal.

No.
This is fairly inaccurate

- No appetizer but there is salad
- Chicken dish or pasta
- fake cheesecake no cookie on dinner flights except transcon

As your question is about domestic meals, it's been merged into the consolidated thread on the subject. I was able to find this thread by doing an advanced search, in thread titles only, for "meals" (without quotes). The two consolidated threads, one for international and one for domestic, are the first two results that come up.

Please remember that FlyerTalk Guidelines & Rules do require all users to search for a relevant and current thread before starting a new one, and also require users to give threads descriptive titles (e.g., if your thread is about meal service, the thread title should include that).

This is not what I was served the last time I took this route. The horrid cheesecake is on DCA-MIA, but JFK-MIA offered the cookies.

You might be right about the appetizer though--I don't eat it anyway.

Nope..no cookies on dinner flight..lunch only. Out of my 10 jfk-mia dinner flights I have had cookies on zero. Maybe a catering miss hap if you have had them. Now BOS-MIA dinner always gets full mid xon service. A good Shrimp cocktail..a rancid piece of chicken, salad and ice cream. Aka sludge (which I happen to like) but the chicken....rancid.

Lunch on 2427 DFW-LAX chicken pot pie with sweet mashed potatoes and salad. Cookie at the and no PDB. The other option was a beef salad I believe I overheard. Also choice of bread.

Any recent information on LAS catering? Specifically, how does dinner/lunch catering compare on Mia/ord/JFK to las? Redeeming a standard award, so have massive flexibility in the routing...
