I can't recall what was listed when I booked it. Could be a snack or lunch with a 1430 departure.

DFW-ATL snAAck

PDB - Yes, anything you wanted. Indulged in a rum and diet coke.

After take off F/A who was sweet as she could be, came by to take orders:

Roast beef wrap with a side of veggies and ranch dressing
or
Salad with "grilled chicken" and apples and some sort of balsamic dressing

I debated a few seconds and decided to go with the beef wrap. Now let me first say my head was telling me, "do the salad" but I decided to try the roast beef wrap at the F/A's suggestion. Personally I thought it was excellent! I'm very picky and get grossed out my non-lean meat, but there was hardly an ounce of fat on any of the meat and it was just enought for a snack flight.

Oatmeal/Cranberry or Double Chocolate cookie for dessert.

Overall a very pleasant flight with the F/A being very attentive. Noticed she prepped all the wine glasses on the trays, but never came by with any bottles of wine. Maybe as a cost cutting move they aren't offering wine unless it's requested? Oh well, not a big deal.

PDBs of your choice offered. Orders were taken before take off, and FEBO was observed. The meal was described as a chicken salad or open faced turkey sandwich. I wasn't expecting much as it was coded as a snack flight, but I was pleased to hear some new choices as I've been getting nothing but the Thai Chicken wraps of late. Boy was I surprised...

The salad was composed of a little cous cous, a nice amount of asparagus, and sundried tomatoes on a lot of arugala. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Best of all, the chicken seemed a lot less processed than what's used in the aforementioned chicken wraps. Dessert was the amazing blueberry, cranberry, and white chocolate chip cookie, served with what the purser termed "grown up chocolate milk". I got a real kick out of that!

Overall service was fantastic, with refills contantly offered. Unfortunately, I didn't get a good look at the turkey sandwich as everyone around me went with the salad. I'm really hoping this was a change in catering for snack flights, and not a miscater since it's much better than wrap/cheese plate. IMHO, I liked this better than the old greasy/snack lunch options.

I have a flight next month that is eligible for reserve your entrée.

The hot breakfast option on the morning LAX-MIA is described as scrambled eggs with cream cheese and chives served with apple smoked bacon, diced potato hash and Boursin sauce.

I don't eat meat or poultry but am tempted by the hot offering. To your knowledge is this dish one where the bacon can be removed with ease or is the porky stuff diced and mixed into the eggs?

If the latter, the alternative cereal will suffice.

Can't answer your question, but I would not pick now, choose a seat based on FEBO, and ask the FA how it is served. This would also protect you from a minor meal modification, if someone here knows how the dish should be served.

ATL-DFW snAAck

21Jan
ATL-DFW
2:00pm departure
3:25pm arrival

PDB - No (not even water and juice)

snAAck choices included:
Chicken salad (as described and photographed by two posts above)
Open faced turkey sandwich

I had the turkey sandwich which was good and just enough for a snack flight. Very simple and served with a small side of cole slaw (which had WAY too much vinegar for my taste)

Cookies were served after trays were collected.

Overall it was a good flight, but as usual on many AA flights, after trays are collected the F/A's disappear for the remainder of the flight and never come back out for drink refills. The one coach F/A sat on the J/S and ate her lunch while the other two F/A's stood in the galley and had a chat fest for at least 45 minutes to an hour before landing.

Chicken curry and rice on today's 4pm JFK-DFW:

Tasted pretty good and would order it again. Other option was salmon.

That sounds exactly like what I had a year ago SFO-JFK. Take a look at it HERE and you'll see the bacon. No idea if it's being served the identical way this year, though.

Didn't there used to be 3 entree choices on HFS Lunch/Dinner services? Or is that for the midcon Hawaii flight only?

Your photo shows the fruit on a separate plate. Did you have to take it off the pizza?
