Any Japanese speakers here? All I have is Zoogle Translate to help me but it isn't always accurate.
Do I understand all tickets for the inaugural flight will be on sale starting 10 January (all classes) 3.00 PM Japan time?
This old flyer wants to be on the Flying Honu's First Inaugural flight to Honolulu.
I certainly don't want to miss out!
This just came out:
https://www.aviationwire.jp/archives...5gg120rGssICYg
It has all the details on the ANA A380 launch, prices, schedules, everything.
This is the ANA Flying Honu dedicated page.
https://www.ana.co.jp/ja/jp/hawaii24/airbus380/
Again a bit complicated to figure out. I can't read Japanese.
If somebody here can help I will certainly appreciate it.

Only for First Class and COUCHii seats. Other seats can be purchased anytime, and you'll be notified on January 4 of your new seat reservation on the A380.

Tried finding NH184 for 24 May without success. I can only get NH182.
I will call ANA in Paris see about buying seats 24 May with whatever return date they can give me.

It will be a special flight, and likely ANA will researve it for a lottery/charity/elites special event flight.
Plus, i expect NRT (and HNL) to be thronged by fans looking to see/photo/video the beast.
I wonder though, since the plane is being delivered in March, wont they be doing domestic familiarization runs (NRT-KIX returns)?
Those, if they exist, will be the "shortcut" to getting onboard the plane while it is brand new.
I am watching if ANA will announce special NRT-KIX flights in April and May since ANA doesn't actually fly that route.
NRT-ICN or NRT-HKG might also be special run flights.

I've booked the following itinerary on the United website:
Outbound: HNL-NRT, Friday, 5/24/19, NH183 (UA8011) 1130-1500
Inbound: NRT-HNL, Tuesday, 5/28/19, NH184 (UA8010) 2020-0840
Both these flights should be on the A380 right?
The inaugural NH184 flight that leaves NRT on 5/24/19 should get to Hawaii at 0840 on 5/24/19 and then go back to NRT at 1130 on 5/24/19 as NH183 correct?
I'm so insanely excited

Airbus test pilots will be testing the aircraft for conformity and certification before she is handed to the airline for passenger service. This I will have the schedules as I have good insiders in the highest places at the test flight center. Will have to ask my Airbus insiders about the Sim.
I am going to take a day trip down to TLS Blagnac to see her and get pictures before she gets delivered to ANA. If I can get hold of an invite from Airbus for the delivery ceremony, all the better, though there is little chance as it is mostly ANA who will deliver the invites.
It's happening soon!

Did your UA8010 also show as NH184 in the system at booking time?
We all want to know.
