Pretty limited in general, but almost impossible to get anything but close-in inventory for MileagePlus as all the seats get taken prior to T-330.

You can book those flights with ANA at T-355 so by the time people with other than ANA miles want to book, all the availability is gone. Even with ANA miles, the availability is gone within a day or two. Crazy.

This is gonna look even worse once they open up booking for F on the A380 for this route.

Yeah, even via ANA the HNL-NRT route is very scarce. As you say, T-355, or there will sometimes be 1 or 2 days with availability from T-300. Also, T-14 things start to open up, which bodes well if you're waitlisting (and there's waitlist availability for almost every day).
This is gonna look even worse once they open up booking for F on the A380 for this route.

New ANA A380
Airbus put out a news report that the first ANA A380 has rolled off the assembly line. I don't pretend to know anything about airline financials, but with Singapore returning their first 5, why might ANA have preferred a new fuselage instead of buying from SQ?

Airbus was a creditor to the bankrupt Japanese airline Skymark who had ordered 3 A380s. ANA wanted to takeover Skymark out of bankruptcy and in order to get Airbus' support in the creditor vote they agreed to take the 3 A380s. They've decided to use them as a Hawaii sub-fleet.

"ANA will be the first and only Japanese airline to fly the super jumbo, of which it will eventually fly three.
The initial plans for the aircraft’s interior include 520 seats across four cabins: economy, premium economy, business and first class."

I'm really looking forward to taking one of the first (if not the very first) A380 flights from HNL to TYO on ANA. Currently everything I try to book in 2019 (I tried many dates past April) is on the 787 instead of the A380. Where will ANA first announce that the A380 flights are bookable? Is there a ANA_Insider (a company spokesperson with a FlyerTalk account) in the same way United has UA_Insider?

I assume a press release and a notice on their website will be what to look for.

I'm looking out for the reverse route (TYO - HNL), be sure to pass the hula lei on arrival
So as of now, still no information on date of first flight?
My fav. schedule website shows just 789s:

ANA flights from Narita, Tokyo to Honolulu.
