Some people doubt the A380 will return at all, my feeling is that the Japan Hawaii market will be back, as soon as the travel conditions are fairly normal.

I doubt the A380s will see regular operations until travel between Japan and Hawaii is without quarantine and PCR testing requirements.
Some people doubt the A380 will return at all, my feeling is that the Japan Hawaii market will be back, as soon as the travel conditions are fairly normal.

The A380 will be subbed out unless travel is back to normal. This is just because NH has not updated the schedules yet. Currently the two are out of service in Tokyo, and the third A380 is parked with Airbus.

Back in October 2020 Airbus and ANA have completed final paper works on third ANA A380 "Sunset Orange" and technically ANA has accepted the delivery of third A380.
The third A380 was supposed to be delivered to ANA on March/April 2020 but ANA has postponed acceptance of third A380. Some media has reported that Airbus was pressuring ANA take a delivery of third A380. Technically ANA has accepted third A380 in October but this orange A380 remain parked at Toulouse, France. The press has said ANA and Airbus is in negotiation/talk about this third A380 but did not mention any specific about the content of the negotiation and the talk they are having.
