Widely available at the Costco in Hawthorne, CA. Although I feel silly for navigating the holiday traffic in that parking lot now knowing that they're back on sale online.

Elite dollars isn’t a thing on AS. I can’t imagine why an airline would sell you a gift card and punish you for giving them money in exchange at a mutually agreed price. “Hey, thanks for buying something that is literally a cash equivalent, let’s punish you by not giving you EQM”.

(FWIW AS does save some money by not paying processor fees and there may be some breakage from gift cards.)
