...and it was out last night in front of the SEA D lounge. The format was a bit different and simpler so they did re-print/reword it but it did say no PP AT ALL
I am thinking the agreement was to limit guests all the time and see if that opens up some more space but if it is near capacity they still reserve the right to restrict further.
Due to the weather/delay issues, I am sure the lounges were mobbed.

This is interesting, does this new sign just single out PP, or other lounge clubs/day passes like before?

Can someone take a picture of the new sign? I landed at D1 last night (around 10:20pm) and there was no sign out at the main boardroom. I didn't go in though to see if there was a sign explaining the new "no PP guest" policy.

It was also along the wall next to the door button, not as easy to see.
If I see it again on Monday I will snap a photo.

This is my data point today Sat May 6 (flight is boarding soon so I don't have time to update wiki)
Arrived at PDX BR around 5:20pm, got in with PP but there was a sign saying cardholder only
Currently in SEA N 10:10pm, same
Both lounges did not have any sign outside (but the no guest sign was inside)

Everyone keeps saying things will improve when the C lounge in SEA opens or when the PDX lounge finally expands, but if AS wants to focus on its own lounge members and not continue its PP association, more lounge space isn't going to change PP access.

Reports like these always lead me to wonder how much of this is a capacity issue and how much of this is based on the agents working the lounge at the time...if the sign goes out during a busy time, my guess it's that it's easily forgotten about well after the crowd goes away.

However, if they use that sign as an excuse and "sorry, signs out" then capacity control is totally BS.

I was in the Alaska Lounge in SEA near D1 on Tuesday May 2. No sign outside, but a sign inside at the check-in desk clearly stated only PP members and no guests were allowed.
I had a nice chat with one of the agents there. She was telling me that in January 2016 they had about 3,000 guests using PP to get into their SEA lounges. In January 2017 they had almost 12,000 guests who accessed their SEA lounges using PP. She even mentioned the Chase Sapphire Reserve as the card many use to gain access. My inclination is that the number of people with Chase Sapphire Reserve cards will drop greatly come this fall when the annual fee is up for renewal. No more 100K mile bonus, they have already taken advantage of two years of travel credits ($300 each calendar year) and they will cancel their cards.

I took a picture of the "new" sign but I'm not sure how to post it from my phone. I'll post it once I get to my laptop.
However, another data point. Sign out at SEA D gates boardroom. 5/7 at 8:30pm. I'm heading to the N gates as my flight goes out of there tonight. Will update accordingly.
