New lounge at LIS.

The old contracted AF/KLM lounge is closed. AF/KLM passengers can now use the ZNZ-lounge, which is also used bij TAP, Lufthansa etc.

It's actually called the ANA lounge, but they write it in such a peculiar style that it does look more like ZNZ! Once I got past that little confusion, it has a fairly decent selection of snacks (I counted eight different types of fillings in the bread rolls, and they have those little custard tarts too) but the lounge itself was pretty crowded.

It seems like you're going to have the task of taking some pictures of the seating area (and a closer look to the food & the alcoholic beverages, unless you depart back to Paris with the 19:05 service on the Monday - by that time, ajs123 will have already emptied all the bottles :D).

I promised to come back with some pictures, so I did. I have to say that I have been really impressed by this lounge in WAW. One of my favourite in Europe IMHO with BCN Pau Casals (see review above). It is rather small but with a very decent F&B offering. And nice design. Wifi is the airport one but it works very well. There's showers available in this lounge too. So here are the pictures :

Snacks, drinks and free wifi connection are available in the Premium Plaza lounges.

I suppose yes. There shouldn't be any change in the applicable policy because of this temporary lounge arrangements.

JNB - Johannesburg O.R. Tambo - AF/KL lounge

Name of the lounge : AF/KL lounge - Johannesburg O.R. Tambo (JNB)

https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1509/...08f3256c_z.jpg

Location : very close to gate A9 (AF gate). This lounge is also used by DL pax going to ATL

https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1584/...3def8f4e_z.jpg

https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1455/...d596375f_z.jpg

Opening Hours : 9 am - 1 am

Entry requirements : usual Skyteam requirements.

This lounge could be nice but is aging very fast (the white seats are in terrible and unacceptable conditions – see pictures). Changing the seats is urgently needed. This lounge gets very full as the DL flight leaves minutes before the AF flight.

ORY Hall 2 lounge closed for renovation

The ORY Patio hall 2 lounge will be closed for renovation from March 14, 2016 to end of the summer.
I think nobody will regret the current lounge and it was in a terrible state last time I visited it. So renovation was clearly needed. I think we can expect something close to what they did in BOD ?

Any news on the DXB Lounge? I am flying DXB-AMS in a few weeks and would like to know if the new lounge will be open by then.

Great! Thanks for the update. I saw that AF and KL are now departing from the new concourse, so I was wondering what would happen if the SkyTeam lounge was not open yet.

NoStressHere Mar 22, 2016 9:13 pm

We are connecting through CDG soon, from Berlin to JNB. I am guessing from other posts, we will arrive at 2F at 5:20 and leave from 2E-L on a380 at 11:25pm in J.

Are we ONLY able to use the lounge in 2E-L? And, if so, what to expect. I could not find a review of the lounge in the "L" Hall.

No access to K or M?

Will we have to leave "F" immediately upon deplaning?

Six hours. One lounge? One smaller terminal?

Shoot me?

Yes, L lounge only. It's a very large lounge. There is no warm food in this lounge but the cold options are quite good (I believe the dinner selection will be displayed from around 6:30 pm). Drinks : champagne, 2 kind of white and red wines, liquors, soft drinks, etc.
I think the Clarins spa will be closed in the evening.

Yes and in any case, you wouldn't have any interest to stay in F. Lounges in 2E are much better.

Thank you so much for your assistance. Only reason I asked about F was for "something' to do while passing the time. Even with transfers and boarding, we are still looking at close to 5 hours in "Hall L".

Looks like walking around hall L is rather limited.

Looking like a movie on the ipad for wife and I - and drinking (more) wine.
