If it's any consolation, they ignore me too.

I quite like the vinaigrette. I use it to dip my bread. The better not have removed it for cost cutting.

Same here.

BTW it was still mentioned on the menu.

Unless the change happened yesterday, the vinaigrette is still there.

Chalk it up to catering mess ups, which I have find occur more frequently as of late. Missing butter, missing vinaigrette, missing tablecloths, missing ceramicware, etc.

When you say SM do you mean SE MM or did you mean SD?

I meant the OSM.

Incidentally, both my napkin and tablecloth, and my wife's, had a buttonhole. I suspect the SD did not notice we used it.

Let's check with that LinkedIn post and see if it's part of their job description.

I doubt crew or OSMs notice these details... or frankly even care if they even know.

My rate of napkin buttonholes have increased lately, which is nice. My rate if tablecloth buttonholes (when there tableclothes catered/used) is pretty much 100%

I like the idea of the veal stew - it's something that easily stands up to reheating. What was your impression?

I've had the partially deconstructed Caesar salad a couple months back, and quite liked it.

Exactly. I quite like this dish, much better than the typical hockey puck steak. The meat was tender and flavourful, and the potato au gratin was a nice companion.

Also, this was a 789 aircraft, so the steam oven might have helped. I have not tried this dish on a narrowbody plane yet.

Ditto, once you "reconstruct" it back to a proper salad it's actually pretty good. ^

The veal stew has been around for a couple of years now, with variations. No different than the beef tenderloin dishes with variations.
