They're probably busy reporting the stupid behaviour I reported earlier.

It seems aeroplan.com took off early for the weekend.

I'm OK getting to aeroplan, but can't sign in on aircanada.com. Tried 3 browsers on two computers (yes I'm a geek), deleted cookies, etc. All I get is a message saying there was an error, try again later!

Newest stupidity.
Tried out LHR-LAS, got some pricing (Oct 5). Changes to LHR-YYZ, does not work (selecting by fare).
Shows "lowest fare of the day 1281". All fare types show "-".
Shop by time? Flights are available.
Nice to see they have time to change colours but not make the stupid thing work.

Ladies & gents,
The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I fully intend to let Aeroplan MGMT know how I feel about their guidance.
To have changed up the Web-Booking system from v. good a few years past (access to all Start Alliance flights - http://www.staralliance.com), to completely non-responsive, faultering and clearly reducing the ability for persons to "spend legal aeroplan tender" is reprehensible. ...to spend 30mins on the phone, and still NOT get an agent, to pay $30 fee!
Please ALL feel free to let mgmt know how you feel; maybe one of these mis-managers can help claim your rewards, book a flight, fix the web-engine...:

Trying to price a cruise through Air Canada Vacations. When the site finally loads to the cruise page, it says "Select a Cruise" with a list below. Only problem is, with 2 different browsers, there isn't any way to select the cruise. There isn't a link, a button or anything to click on.

OLCI down?
Have been attempting to use OLCI since yesterday at 15:00 EDT for series of flights, first of which departs today at same time. Leg 1 is YOW-YYZ AC457.
OLCI accepts my info and finds me in system. On second screen, I select myself to checkin and attempt to continue. Third screen is an error msg stating OLCI not available now.
I've never experienced this before. Is it the system or just my reservation?

Use United to check StarAlliance flights
So, the best solution to check AeroPlan flights is:
NOT to call AeroPlan and wait 40 minutes, & NOT actually get to speak to anyone;
NOT to use ther terrible AeroPlan web interface. Shows availability one minute, and 10 seconds later the flight is gone, then 10 seconds later it's available again!! Or "we don't fly to that city", yet it just offered me a flight there?? INTENTIONAL Glitch heaven.
DO Call UNITED Airlines or any StarAlliance Airline; and they can check on ALL StarAlliance flight availability for you.
Unfortunately, you'll still have to try and book with AeroPlan... but it will save your Hours upon Hours of hassle and failure dealing with AeroPlan.

Aeroplan Web Site is a Joke
I've been trying to book a November flight over errorplan, and keep getting the following message:
The following field is blank/missing: Leaving on.
The following field is blank/missing: Returning.
The fields are NOT blank or missing. No matter what I do, click the calendar or enter manually, I get that stupid message, and am unable to proceed.
What's the good of a Web site when you can't use it? (Silly question...you're forced to use the call centre and pay a fee of course).

I've had this problem as well.
For DEPARTURe I put in YYC and ARRIVAL I put in YYT. It kept giving me the same error... So instead of using the ICAO codes, I just typed the city in manually. Try that, does it work now?

Type the three letter code, and wait for it to make a suggestion... click on the suggested name, and let it fill the field with that name. It should work then.
This doesn't excuse the error messages that have nothing to do with the actual error.

From the master "AC IT site sucks" thread, which is where this thread is likely headed as well:

FWIW I've encountered the same hiccup and tried spelling the destination rather than airport code and it eventually worked. Patience has always been a viirtue when dealing with AC IT.
