Unfortunately, I did not take photos. I'm generally not a photo whore of cheap meals. Or expensive meals, for that matter.

No need to be snarky, I come in peace ☮️

Isn't listing out 1/2 of AC's faults part of the reason everyone is on AC forum? 😆
From meals never changing, deflating seats, IT Bombs, lack of YYZ rampers, choice/dimensions of J seats installed on AC birds etc...

There's something for everyone to complain ✔️✔️✔️

My mistake, thought you might have some resources/data on it...

AC 304 YVR-YUL (January 2022)

At least the Cappuccino machine was working on C-FGEI

Not entirely sure why I threw the almonds in this photo or where it came from?
Brainfart Moment here 🤷‍♂️

AC 311 YUL-YVR (January 2022)

Unlike previous crews where everyone gets their 1st choice, then you get a 2nd if there's any else left.
This time around, no fruit for you 😢

Cappuccino Machine was working on C-FVLX

Unlike other Signature Transcon service, this crew decided to leave all the refreshment baggie in the plastic bin in front of Seat 1D/1G.

For those interested.....

From some of my recent J flights (January 2022)

YYZ-YVR

Beautiful start to the day. Well, it started much earlier, but still.

Love the effect of the sunlight on the glass and the reflection on the screen.

Yes, ice in the bubbles because it's not cold enough and it looks nice in the sunlight.

Yup, no sausage.

Fresh fruit. Not Frozen. This serving had lots of flavour too.

YVR-YYZ

Still love this salmon appetizer.

The juxtaposition of flying AC and watching Logan flying differently.

Of the 4 choices, I thought I'd try one I haven't yet had. This salmon was great. Nice flavours.

On a different flight, I opted for the other Happy Meal.

Chef Park's Nanaimo Bar was ok. Prefer the decadent brownie.

YYZ-YVR

I love this. Also my IFE.

Fruit was fresh but melons were not ripe. Sure, FWP.

Ahhh, now here we go.

Love bubbles and snacks with Logan Roy.

YVR-YYZ

Different seat, different lighting.

Sure, tastes the same as the previous one, but so much prettier with natural light.

This chicken dish was great the first couple of times I had it. Oddly, it wasn't this time. Not sure if it was the catering itself or the reheating.

No worries. Alternate options available.

North Dakota. Time for a snack. I put the pineapple in the Perrier. Yum.

I actually saw an FA eating the frittata on a flight from YHZ-YOW this past Sunday. It looked fine, but I think I'd still prefer the omelette.

I always look forward to these posts from you. Reminds me of the trip reports I used to read on Airliners.net, but the food makes it all the better!

If airline doesn’t provide enough variety, having a variety of airlines would help. Oh wait, there is no variety of airlines within Canada. Maybe that’s why there is no variety on AC

Though I have to say that I haven’t been on AC J for almost 5 years. Maybe flying AC J once in a while can help me appreciate the varieties I have from other airlines

You can apply this question all the way back to the mid-aughts, and probably even before that.

When did we get big bottles of Botega? It was still the little gold wrapped ones in November and I haven't flown since then.

@TechnoTourist
"We"?

Some months ago. Scroll upthread for photos in my posts where a FA is pouring into a glass.

I clearly have not been on the right flights, they kept running out of the little bottles whenever I set foot aboard. Wonder how that kept happening....

Another Air Canada Mystery? Like the missing Kit Kats in J? Like the creamers were only for crew?.... for months...

I added info to my post above.

I also reported that some of the NB transcons I flew in November and December had the single serve in the carts in Y for bistro, other flights had none. I discovered a bit of a pattern. But J on all those flights had the full size bottle.... because I have photos.....

I must have been so caught up in the euphoria of seeing Gin and Tonic on the menu that I missed the Bodega.

It definitely returned on Aug 1, 2021 when they brought back glass wear and ice and moved away from single serve wine bottles. However, the big bottles may just be on the signature service flights. Don’t recall if I’ve ever had on the narrow body.
