Sorry, I just remembered that it was EWR-YUL, not YYZ. I almost always end up through YYZ so I wasn't thinking. But I remember now that I got smoked meat after the flight, so it would have been in the YUL MLL.

It was better than my expectation.
Was expecting the old chicken skewers or equivalent.
My scale, this Cold Tuna Plate > Unhealthy Snack Basket > Veggie Wrap
If I was a betting man, these flights are double catered from YYZ, since YYZ-YUL was the same exact cold plate.

Yeah the short haul J tuna/salmon dishes are usually winners. Wish they stopped messing around... just stick with what works.
