Yup, see the change on the reload. Thanks!

If you need to make selections by Jan 1, what happens if you do not reach the level until Dec 20

Does the tab appear automatically or do you have to wait for a sweep?

I think this is a terrible change not to mail out guest passes. The majority of the time the people I plan to guest into the lounge won't be on the same PNR as me, and I don't book their tickets. Incredibly inconvenient.

It's typical at AC though, turning anything elegantly done at other airlines into a complete AC IT disaster.

Once I select my privileges, do I have to wait until I get the package from AC, or until March 1, to start using things like MLL access? I have some more travel booked before the end of the year, but nothing in J that would get me lounge access. Clearly, I'm eager for access to all the pickles.

Thanks

Some of you can select privileges for next year ? i can't do that yet , i didn't get the invitation and can't find a link on the webiste . Anyone else in the same situation ?

I selected mine for next year. Same as last year.

Did not receive an email, just logged on to the Altitude site. Chose for Mrs. Plumber as well, as she has e50K for life.

I would be willing to bet that the promo codes are for the "aircanada.com Travel Options" benefit which used to be mailed out on a piece of paper in your package and included some lounge access codes.

I'm pretty sure they're not turning the paper guest passes into promo codes.

I think you are correct - I just chose the guest pass selection and no promo code appeared. It is probably just for the onboard cafe stuff.

Choose this Select Privilege and indulge the guests of your choice with the comfort and amenities of select Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges located in the domestic and transborder departure zones of Canadian airports, as well as those in Los Angeles and New York (LaGuardia and Newark).

Access applies when traveling on a same-day flight operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express or Air Canada Rouge. Visitors under the age of majority must be accompanied by an adult. Guest Passes are valid through February 28, 2018.
Nothing there about "already ticketed bookings"

ffsim Dec 8, 2016 7:14 am

FWIW I still can't choose my privileges.

You would get to select again. Happened to me. Reached E50 and selected. Couple of weeks later made E75 and selected again.

Are you sure that we still have to do that? I thought they fixed this problem and the booking automatically shows your new status, at least this is what happened with my partner on a recent trip to China in November, she moved from E50 to E75 half way, and it was reflected on her BP.
