Can someone confirm whether the AC MLL guest passes are still paper vouchers (not to useless codes which need to be entered during the booking process)?

Is there a new eupg promo currently similar to the last one that had a expanded window, etc. From my Altitude page I clicked on the eupg promo link and got the 'Oops this page has flown away' message.

It wasn't very clear (to me) when the promo last fall was announced, but there were two parts: lower eUps, bigger windows for fares other than Tango; and opportunity to eUp Tango and reward fares (with co-pay). I say it wasn't clear because at the time, I got the impression they were both temporary programs. At some time, it appears the first part of the offer has become permanent. It is no longer defined as ending at a specific time, unlike the second part. The web page is hard to find, but it is here: https://beta.aircanada.com/ca/en/aco...ade-offer.html All it says about the first part is that any eUp request made after Sept. 6, 2016. No ending date is identified. The second part ends as of April 3, 2017. Yes, this would be a actual improvement in the program. And just like I have been very critical of AC in the other IKK thread, I am equally critical of them around this: they actually truly enhanced (using the Webster definition, not the AC definition, of the word) the program in a significant way, and totally failed to communicate this to their customers. Shockingly bad communications. |

As I mentioned above, the tags are identical to last year's design, only the year has changed and the hole is smaller. No change to the card either (other than AC "elite priority" reservation numbers). The envelope is about 9x6, and features the colouring of your status. The stamp area has both the postal meter coding and the AC roundel.

I believe the promo has become permanent or semi permanent.

The communication has been clunky at best, but part of the reason why they may not be promoting it too much is that they'd be admitting they'd made a miscalcalculation with their eupgrade cutbacks in ~2015, so they're essentially just reversing part of a prior cutback. |
Anyone else grumpy to learn the tags are the same? I know it's silly, but I enjoy the new designs every year.

Has anyone else had issues on the website. The last day I have tried to choose my choices......I choose in bundle #1 and no issues - it automatically bumps to make a choice in bundle #2 - I make a choice but nothing happens at that point. It should be bumping to #3???

But when I do have an issue with the AC site (I had one yesterday looking at flight passes), I simply use another browser and it solves the problem. |
What the heck!! Still couldn't get past that stage at home this morning. I have tried it at work both on IE and Chrome and does the exact some thing!!Ugh..
|
You know you need to choose two options in bundle 2, right?
|
Nope........but I do now!! :) :) DUH,.
Thanks again ..cow - If I recall you have guided me a few times to the right places and/or provided good information! Thank goodness I didn't start giving opinions about AC's fine web sites!! LOL. |
