OMG! After all our AQD we get status quo luggage bling. So not right. I guess this is on par with the unchanged benefits. Show us some love AC!

These posts are gems I tell you. :D

And people can and do change elite status each year, so would this mean they'd attach the permanent MM tag and their current Altitude status tag?

I wasn't complaining, I was just replying to the earlier thread

I too am disappointed that the luggage tags for 2016 and 2017 are the same.

For 2018, I hope they redesign the tags. Since each tag needs to be custom printed with the flyer's name anyway, I was hoping they could take it a step further.

For the varying levels, in the past they used different shades of blue. In 2018 they should use different shades of green.

For Super Elites, they should print an additional random number generated unique snowflake design, so that each SE can get their own special snowflake on the their tag.

Are we really getting worked up over luggage tags now ?

This is FT. Some of us get worked up over crappy cookies in the MLLs

I think we just need some new emoji. :D and :p and  don't always convey the exact sentiments that may include humour and sarcasm.

So, any others who selected in early December still waiting for their welcome kits? I selected my benefits within hours of them being available (first week of Dec -can't remember exact date). I don't remember it taking this long in the past.

Exact same situation here. Longer this year for sure. Unless it's lost in the mail never to be found :p

I haven't been asked to select any benefits yet of any kind. I must be in some sort of Altitude 75k-100k limbo-land.

I am in YOW have not received anything yet. My wife, who is E50K for life, has received her package already.

i remember YOW-based people waiting longer than other SEs in the past couple of years....though I think i usually have had it by Jan 15...

That's exactly what I'm worried about - wouldn't be the first time Canada Post messed up. I get mail for other people all the time (not even my street).

Same here.

Wasn't there supposed to be some deadline next week for selecting one's benefits?
