It's not hitting a nerve so much as this seems to be one of the most commonly-asked questions on FT, along with "why haven't I been allowed to select my privileges yet".

Both have large threads with lots of detailed answers, as does the thread about AC inviting people to buy up to the next status tier.

I changed the 2016 # to 2017 and it worked. Does not look like anything has changed?

According to AC Altitude on Twitter next wave of emails/sweep will be on January 10th. Really wish they had done them all through December like years past.

If the next sweep is January 10, how many days am I given to select my privileges before the default selection kicks in? I am away until January 20 with limited access to email.

Could someone who has received the email and selected privileges let me know

If you're going to be away, arrange for someone else to make the selections for you (the options are already known).

Anyone know how to nominate the same person for status gifting before March 1?

You can't do it until their current status expires.

So if AC says pick your select privileges before March 1, are you SOL or do you know of a workaround?

If you choose it as your benefit, you can select the candidate later. You will have a link on your Altitude page to select your candidate. No work around is required.

The Altitude site says you need to pick your selections by Jan 29 or you will get the default benefits. Hope it helps.

today , january 10th , still no notice about choosing my privileges for 2017. Any others in my situation ? Can it have anything to do with the fact that i am downgraded from SE100 to E75 ?

if it's too complicated for them , i can keep my SE100 with the same privileges that i now have ! :)

I selected mine early December. Have yet to receive the package in the mail? Has anyone received there 2017 Packages yet?

I'm still waiting for the opportunity to select my privileges, for SE100k. I'll give it another week I think, then start emailing.
