I agree. Emails should be flowing into AC. This is no different than if they reset EUps at this time instead of in February. Imagine the uproar...

At one point it specifically said that these were set once you selected your selected privileges. Then they just randomly reset in December. Sure, it's within AC's prevue to change the rules of the program at any point, but another way to annoy loyal customers.

In this case it doesn't seem intentional, but likely an IT / communication snafu resulting in the combined administration of the program between AC and Aeroplan.

I don't remember it ever saying that, though I do believe the phrasing has changed.

I remember anecdotally it resetting when I selected my privileges last year though.

But this is really annoying. I had at least one more trip to book with my 2 remaining.

Well the Altitude page has changed. On the bottom of page one was able to select the 2014, 2015 and 2016 programs. These links are no longer there, no more ability to compare

Just saw all these links in your post and you had me excited for a second that they'd released more information! The links are all still there at the bottom of the page for me.

I just meant you can still compare by changing the year in URL :p

Correct that is what i had been doing the last days to see if 2017 had been uploaded and of course the links on the page disappeared since yesterday.

Capricious and arbitrary changes don't fall within my definition of a "rule". While Aeroplan may not be required to give "notice" of a rule change they should still be disclosing the "rule".

Someone intended it, perhaps not as it was supposed to be implemented - willful incompetence is nearly as good as intent.
