If they are going to have signs for queuing then I would assert that when (as happened Sunday) a self-important, entitled bellend strolls past the long line of 1/2 passengers prior to boarding even being officially started, the GAs should not just happily process and board him. "Sir there's a queue" doesn't seem like we are asking them to be too draconian.

I guess it was only flying out of their single largest hub...

MCO-YYZ.

Zone 1.

A husband and wife come up ... she pleads to go on board first since he has a limp, takes a long time to get to the aircraft.

The GA gives in.

I head down after them, and I swear I was following Usain Bolt.

Some people.

The correct answer to this is “Would you like to pay up to business class, or can we fetch you a wheelchair then?”

If you have a leg issue boarding last would likely also fix this. Unless the door closes and the aircraft immediately starts moving, and that happens how often ...

Oh and I often have a limp, anytime I fly (Rouge) Y or without a preferred seat for example. That seems to come on during the flight though.

The same signs were still in use in YLW on Sunday. Boarding announcements only went up to Zone4.

Wonder if preparations are under way to send everyone with basic/tango and no status to zone 6

Again, those signs are OLD. They were first posted about here years ago.

The new sign design does not have a zone 6.

I feel Zone 6 will come eventually. Maybe AC marketing got prepared and then found AC IT can’t handle numbers above 5...

Updated wiki, added “in advance” after preferred seating for Z3 given purchasing after about t-24 or certainly at airport doesn’t get you Z3 - in fact it probably guarantees Z5.

MEX yesterday. Called Zone 1 and 2 together. For a Rouge 767. I am zone 1. Everyone in front of me is zone 4 and boards with no issue.

This is a joke now. There is no point in chasing status.

Had a entire family of Zone 4 board ahead of me when Zone 1 was called. GA had no issue with it.

YYC, DH8-300. At least they did call Zone 1 separately.

Have you written in to AC to report this?

Unfortunately, this happens in 'remote' (i.e. not large outstations) quite frequently. Asia (HKG,NRT,TPE) is ahead of the pack. SFO follows it rigorously. BOM, PUJ, CUN, etc either spotty or not at all.
