Wondering if YUL-LHR is coming back on the 77P next year... from what I hear loads are so dismal a 333 may as well have been operated up until now.

Perhaps YYZCDG? I'm positive YYZ is much higher yielding than any other city but maybe it's an option.

Any idea what will happen if they pull the metal from that route that day? I would be upset if I paid extra for PE and was seated in Y, but on the other hand I don't expect them to upgrade me to J!

I was thinking yesterday when using the red-eye YVR-YYZ that one of these would be sensible instead of 2 321's or 1 321 and 767, and it seems for the winter schedule has exactly that is operation.
Very wise use of resources IMO.

Seems odd wondering where to put these planes, given in 2 years time they will all be similar to this!

It will be nice to have the 6 77Ls and 12 77Ws refurbished with 787 style interiors and proper PE cabins.
The 10 across in Y is what everyone is afraid of, especially on the TPAC super-long hauls from YYZ.
Those of us who frequent the two exclusive row 18 pairs are most anxious to see these retained as is! Row 18 on the five 77Hs is a huge let down!

Better J seats on 77HD?
AC.com says the bed length of the 'studio pods' ranges from 190.5 to 198 cm (75 to 78 in). That is a pretty big difference.
Anyone know which seats have the longer beds?
I've only been in 7D. Seemed ok. It's hard to know which seats to pick on this aircraft (all the singles on the sides are taken on the flight I am on).
Would be helpful to have a 'best J seats on 777HD' thread.

Perhaps in line with the seasonal shift from Europe to Caribbean/South, maybe YYZ-BGI? Recalling that for years YYZ-BGI supported an HD 747 aircraft (482-496 seats) and continues to carry higher-yielding traffic as evidenced by the upcoming shift from ACR back to ACM this Winter. The 77L is already planned for late 2014/2015.
