+1 on the TP connection via ORY.

It may add an additional segment but is very handy and often has better availability than CDG. Also good for connecting to other places via LIS as also mentioned by @asovse1.

I have a reward ticket booked on OZ F, however I fly on September 1st and it looks like they are removing the F product from the flight, and rebranding it as "Business Suite", while this is a big let down, how would this work for my redemption which was having this as an F product, which it clearly is not anymore.

If its the only F flight in the itinerary, you will need to ask for a points refund (or complete refund if you wish)
If there are other F segments - there is nothing you really can do except to get rerouted on NH or CA F (subject to it being award available) for free.

Hi, i'm still messing around with flights for next year can one of the experts out there tell me if this is this valid?
ORD-IST 8hr Connection in IST
IST-DPS (TK)
STOP
DPS-SIN 21hr connection in SIN
SIN-MLE (SIN)
DESTINATION
MLE-SIN 3hr connection in SIN
SIN - BKK (SIN)
STOP
BKK - TPE 13hr connection in TPE
TPE - ORD (EVA)
STOP
BKK -TPE (13hr connection in TPE)
TPE-ORD

I figure for 2 people in J it will be around $325

Had an email this morning about a schedule change on our mRTW. I expected more of these since we're T-230 days. The YEG-YYZ segment is our final segment and got pushed back by two hours (1AM) and assigned on a 7M8. There's no problem with that particular segment but I was wondering if it was possible to use the general schedule change as an excuse to swap out our less desirable HKG-ICN (AI J) and ICN-NRT (ET J) segments earlier in the trip for HKG-HND (NH J) that I see having availability?

This is not valid. DPS is your destination, not MLE, which means you're transiting SIN more than once on either side of your destination which is not allowed.

MPM for ORD-DPS is 16120, so other than the rule I've noted, you must ensure that the total of each segment on your outbound and return journeys can not exceed 16120 each way.

If you're committed to that new IST-DPS flight you need to get with to or from MLE without transiting SIN.

ord-ist-dps-bkk-blr-mle would get you there and you should do your BKK stop then. so that would mean your complete return would be dps-bkk-blr-mle-sin-tpe-ord which is OK MPM wise

Have only booked basic trips nothing crazy like what i've seen here.
Looking to use up my points want to know if this is valid

YYZ-HAN STOP Layover in TPE
HAN-BKK Destination
BKK-KUL STOP
KUL-YYZ Layover in TPE

All in Business. I've looked on aeroplan for the days and business with 1 ways and they seem good but don't know if this is valid.
Was wondering also if I could add any other countries to this trip in South east Asia (layovers) and still be valid .

Very valid, and yes, you are free to add another stopover in Asia (or North America - like YVR/SFO), and pretty much anywhere that SQ/TG/BR/CA/OZ/NH fly in Asia

OP already has 3 stops (ie HAN/BKK/KUL) so won't be able to add another.

ah true, got confused with the layover language.
So yes, no more stops, but add as many connections as one desires.

thanks for the help guys.

So i can add more connections. Two of my flights are direct atm
the first and last that layover in TPE.

YYZ-HAN STOP Layover in TPE
HAN-BKK Destination Layover- SGN
BKK-KUL STOP Layover- SIN
KUL-YYZ Layover in TPE

would this be okay if there were flights that had these layovers.
And this would be max i could add to this trip?
I'm somehow trying to add HKG even if its for a few hours to this trip

You cant go twice to the same city in one direction, so you cant do BKK-KUL-SIN-KUL-TPE-YYZ. or YYZ-TPE-HAN-BKK-SGN-BKK. You can have 16 segments, but they need to be in a continuous direction, on either side of your destination

You can go pretty crazy with YYZ-KUL as a routing because of how generous the MPM is. So you can add any <24hr layovers you want, unless you

a) Keep it below 16 segments total
b) don't transit the same city twice in either outbound/inbound

HKG is very easy to incorporate because of the number of *A flights in/out of it. For inspiration, use:
https://www.flightconnections.com/ and filter by *A

e.g. could do:

BKK-KUL /STOP
KUL-SIN-HKG-TPE-YYZ

very easily
