Yes I agree....I was the bunch of delusional 10 years ago thinking my Gold status on M&B would be for life. I beg to differ on the point that bookings on SQ only open 2 to 3 days a year for selected long haul. From my own personal booking history as an example the year before COVID struck, I made three bookings at various points in the month of Nov 2019 for travel the following year all using the online booking system for 2 persons on biz for SQ:

1st Nov 2019 PER - SIN - AKL - Oct 2020 travel
6th Nov 2019 DPS - SIN - KIX - Apr 2020 travel
28th Nov 2019 DPS - SIN - WLG (via MEL) - July 2020 travel

Perhaps I was just lucky........

Most likely a bit of luck and some of those pair being some fuzzy same region stuff. Who knows at this point.
Still the current situation stands that there is a lack of premium awards as planes are full. (Not trying to direct anything at you just a general statement regarding this thread)

Apparently you can do LHR-LAX via BOG, found availability both eco and biz but not sure about AV service after the pandemic though.

Would this be bookable through the phone with the correct amount of miles (65,000 miles) instead of 130,000 miles?

Just got off a call with Aegean trying to book a long-haul UA flight in I with a feeder on LH.
Checked Expertflyer etc. to make sure there was availability in I on both flights but was told that there wasn't any on the LH sectors.
Very strange.

Sent the agent a screenshot from the Aegean website that shwed the availability on the feeder, hoping they'll be able to get this sorted (before the seats on UA disappear).
Fingers crossed.

How did you send the agent your screenshot?? Looks like the call centre of A3 went the extra mile for you.

By the way finding availability on the single legs by using EF doesn't mean that this can be packed and offered as a single award ticket. It has happened to me in the distant past (during the height of the pandemic) when I found I-class availability with A3 for ATH-LHR and then again I-class availability with UA for LHR-EWR though the agent told me that this combination is not possible to be sold as a single ticket.

They sent me an email which I was able to just reply to.
I know that combinations aren't always possible, but since I remember seeing FRA-LHR-LAX all in I from before UA stopped showing up I expected it to work (and it showed up when searching for it on UA).
Whatever the case may be, the availability on LHR-LAX vanished, so no longer relevant (unfortunately).

You can search on United or Aeroplan site to see award availability and then call to book them.

Finding UA availability on the United website doesn't mean its available for/to Aegean though. Best way is to use ExpertFlyer.
