So the invitation tier is still a Black card.

Oooohh, very worried about the "Access to Executive Lounge (if existing)" - I can see the French getting into a Cartesian discourse.

Cogito ergo sum - it follows therefore that as Executive Lounges do not think, they are not existing. So access is impossible

The F&B image seems to imply that you can only burn points - not earn. (When not a guest at a hotel).

Hi Cornelis,
Thanks for the information. Does that mean it's free breakfast on Thursday to Sunday (book wednesday night to Saturday night)?

I agree that Hilton is more generous and less complicated.

The suite night matters are not concluded yet and properties have not been advised about it. Possible that your contact is talking about the regular room upgrades.
Suite night upgrades will be guaranteed at time of booking (that is confirmed).

For free weekend breakfast bookings, the way it works is that

a) you need to be logged in.
b) if you are recognized as an eligible member, the system will automatically comp your breakfast via a weekend substitution rate if you book a Thu-Mon Breakfast rate or
c) it will grant you free breakfast on Sat and Sun if you book a Thu-Mon non breakfast rate

All this will be reflected when you book via the Accor online/app system

The Platinium member In that picture does not look that happy.

Thanks for the information. 10 Euros per 1000 points is not worth it when You can redeem it for 40 Euros per 2000 points.

Indeed, the additional benefits between Diamond & Plat seem quite low considering the fact that you need to spend almost double to reach the status.

I will be spending around 22 k€ in 2019 in Accor; my employees around 15 k€ and I would say several hundreds of thousands euros indirectly through my clients (that I am advising on their travel policy) and pretty sure that I'll only reach Diamond and not invitation only status.
Will see in 2020 but will probably not prefer Accor more than necessary

So the system will automatically re-calculate booking rate by deducting breakfast charge if eligible for free weekend breakfast? I feel sorry for their IT, instead of just make it free breakfast everyday, they make everything so complicated for everyone. Anyway...
But why Thu-Mon? What if I booked Wed-Mon? The system won't recalculate and will just charge 100% as normal? It's so confusing.

Well, someone floated the possibility of a points devaluation...ALL the enhancements may not have been announced yet - 2000 points for hotels might just become €20 worth...perfect aligment with the newly announced dining value of points.

Sorry, my days were just an example. Anything with a weekend day/days booked will be recalculated.

I agree. I dread the complex IT behind this. We will see.

Who will be the first to start a thread called "I booked over a weekend in Paris, but was still charged breakfast as a Diamond member"
