Its a elite tier that is pointless, would be much better to merge all the benefits into the existing Platinum level.

Accor need to announce something to make this level worth the spend.

I will be spending nearly €20k in Accor hotels in 2019 and I am 99% sure that I will not have the "invitation only" status but only diamond.
Most of those benefits listed above are useless as we usually have them with Plat status.
The only difference is the free breakfast during WE which almost never happened... As I am travelling almost 50% of my time, I usually try to spend the WE at home. While at the hotel, it's paid by my company so I do not really care...

Here are some examples of what would have interesting benefits to me :
- Automatic upgrade (and not subject to availabilty or front desk good/bad will)
- Automatic early check-in / check-out
- Specific check-in process (It still happens to wait 15 min for check-in or check-out in some hotels...)
- 1 free room service for 4 nights booked consecutively
- 2 pieces ironing/cleaning for 4 nights booked consecutively

Any benefit that is given that is "soft" is not worth it. It would be much better to give a properly defined and available "hard" benefit. ( At ANY status level )

That’s what we said in previous pages of this thread : for Diamond, you clearly expect guaranteed benefits and nothing « if available / upon request / if I an in a good mood today »

From my contacts, I understand that hotels in Australia and South East Asia are continous rolling out training for staff for new ALL Programme. But as suauly, keep expectations low as with usual standards. If stressed, please eat an Apple

Wait! What? Are you suggesting that Accor actually trains their staff?

Don't they just start as a seed in the ashtray left by a previous guest?
