Unconfirmed rumors
1) top tier to be renamed as "Limitless", target 3,000 members worldwide. (Maybe black is a sensitive word?)
2) Accor will partner with other travel and lifestyle companies to allow member using accor reward points to redeem service / product at partners. (Something like grabcar, uber)
3) Dine in hotel can earn and burn point. To earn point there is a condition that you have to save the card into the new ALL app. (I have reason to believe that ALL app will act as e-wallet). Here is the msg I received recently when booking:

About point 1, what do you mean by Top Tier ? Diamond new status or invitation only status ?
3000 members for the invitation only status sounds high to me...

Points 2 & 3 make sense and Accor is clearly trying to enlarge their lifestyle partnerships and not only hotels related partnerships.

Invitation only = Limitless.
Diamond = Limited:
- Limited to those who spend a meagre minimum of €10k with us
- Free breakfast limited to weekends only
- Suite upgrades limited to availability, goodwill of frontdesk and/or limited to one night per limited number of vouchers
- Lounge access limited to Sofitel and below (Fairmont and Raffles are off-limits)
...not to mention the sometimes petty limitations on welcome drinks or number of apples in the room
