Ginger Ale? That's usually my beverage of choice unless I want/need some caffeine.

I'm fairly certain those don't even get scanned, much less used for any type of sorting. I'd be fairly annoyed if I learned in this thread that I've been standing on the jetbridge waiting for someone to sort the 40 bags by the little green tag number.

In the video when they are talking about the route network they show all of the flight paths leaving the US and going East.
Also something is said like "we're big in Asia" and flashes Shanghai, Tokyo...and then Sydney Harbor.
During the Explorer Card commercial I hate the way the guy says "saved $75".

I don't like the way the guy says, "I just get on the plane and relax" because he checked his bag (for free). How can he complain on FT about gate lice with that kind of attitude?

What's the Stupidest, Least Substantive UA-Related Thing You Can Complain About?

My seq number on my boarding pass is 199, but there are only 152 seats on the plane! If this is an issue when I attempt to fly tomorrow, I shall move this post to a real, substantive thread. Gnite everybody!

The curtain when I was in the bulkhead of Y+ now and then would brush against my leg when I had them stretched out.

It is a good suggestion, though would be about the same as Sprite, which they still stock on board. The challenge on United is a no-calorie, no-caffeine beverage.

Most likely because your flight number doesn't just operate the segment you're on. It could be something like LGA-IAH-SNA. If you're on just IAH-SNA you will still get a high sequence number because you're after anyone who has already checked in for LGA-IAH and IAH-SNA.

I've had a sequence number in the 300s for a 737 flight (it had three legs like BOS-IAD-SEA-SFO and I was doing SEA-SFO).

The smallest thing I can complain about at the moment...they removed the toothpicks from business class setups. Why the hell would they do that? There is no way this is a cost cutting measure, is it?

I relied on that toothpick when I was done eating.

On our recent MUC-IAD flight, our priority tagged bags actually came out first. Not only was this utterly unexpected and surprising, it has recalibrated my expectations - I will now want my checked bags to arrive first every time.

The whole point of this thread is to let people wallow in the insignificant - so actually bringing explanations is OT.

(correct explanation of course)

I was upgraded on a CR7 the other day and, while that was great (relatively speaking), there was no curtain covering the steps by the door! How low-budget...

Also, on a different CR7 flight that day on which I was upgraded, I was offered a snack box, but wasn't hungry at the time. I forgot about it and it was only after I got to the airport that I started getting hungry and realized that the FA only reminded twice about the snack box. If only she had reminded me one more time, I probably would've opted to have gotten a snack box.
