You should with every year you renew Diamond. It's a "sure thing" when you renew via casino play. FoundersCard Diamond renewals have also traditionally received it; BUT, Caesars does put a restriction in their terms and conditions. So, it could become YMMV. Though, perhaps, "restrictions" refers to where you can use the $100 credit instead of who (or how) qualifies for it.

Celebration dinner $100 (8)
(8) Restrictions apply. Please see Total Rewards Center for complete details.

As a Diamond Member, do you get better room rates? Assuming that you don't have a bunch of TR credits, etc from game play. If my only perk is not having to pay the resort fee, then I'll need to stay in Vegas for 12 days to break even. ($395/$32) Any other perks to help bring down my break even point? Discounted room rates would be huge for me.

- The $100 yearly celebration (Diamond) Dinner
- Lounge Access in Vegas (unlimited with guest)
- VIP check-in
- VIP cab line
- 2 shows (Diamond List) a month in Vegas
- Free parking in venues like AC (where parking can exceed $25 a night in the summer on the boardwalk properties)

There are probably a few others, and some other property (venue) specific.

Really most useful for one who is Platinum, but does not want to play to Diamond but has a LOT of room COMPS they will be using. I know many Platinum with 20+ room nights a year in Atlantic City and Vegas (as an example). So, that is a large savings in resort fees.

As you mention, room rates discounted and comp are based on theo (casino play).

Edit to add : the purpose of FoundersCard is multiple benefits. Such as Hilton Gold, or AT&T discounts etc. Most find a few benefits that have value. Thus, making the membership more worthwhile. That is also the overall intent of FoundersCard, not just an upgrade to Caesars Diamond.

Got an e-mail from Total Rewards (yesterday afternoon Jan 29) stating my renewal of Diamond status was incorrect and it has been rescinded. Checked my TR account and, sure enough, my Diamond status (which was good thru Jan 31, 2017) now expires March 31, 2016.

I'll be notifying Founders Club of this to see if they can follow up and get it straightened out.

Sure hope this was a mistake and will be corrected soon as my wife and I have a trip to Las Vegas planned for February; we had planned on using our new $100 dining credit on this trip as, most likely it will be our only trip together this year.

My husband also got that email and his account has been downgraded as well. My account was not downgraded. His founders card is a spouse card. We are not going to go to Vegas till April so I wont panic yet. Hopefully we can get this cleared up easily.

Got a quick e-mail response from Jessica at Founders Card. She will look into it and get back to me by Monday so DON'T PANIC (yet).

I'll post here as soon as I hear from her on Monday.

p.s.
Mine is not a spouse's card so, at this point, I don't think that is part of the issue.

Emails from Caesars Entertainment

When I read the recent posts about the emails for Diamond being rescinded, I got worried! I called FC this morning and they told me the following:

The emails were sent out by mistake by Caesars and not from FoundersCard.
FC is currently contacting Caesars Entertainment (Total Rewards) and correcting any downgrade from Diamond to its FC members.
If you are currently an FC member in good standing, please FORWARD your email from Caesars Enterainment Group (Total Rewards) to [email protected]

They will contact Caesars to correct the mistake.

If you are interested in joining FC or want to see the current benefit listing, please message me for an invite.

Best Regards,
Patrick Y

I think that the downgrade was due to CET updating their database and that it will fall on Founders to manually update their customers' files. At least, I hope this is the case.

Got a response from Jessica Monday afternoon (Feb 1, 2016):

"So sorry about this, and we are working with Total Rewards to have your account updated and corrected by the end of today!"

I just looked at my account (on Monday Feb 1, 2016 6:20 EST) and my status is now back to Diamond with an expiration date of Jan 31, 2017!

Thanks, Jessica!

What great (and quick) customer service from Jessica@Founders Card!

I also confirmed the same today, there was a data-base "glitch." Everyone's account should be updated properly by next week (the latest).

So, nothing to worry about.

Joined last week and hope to be upgraded soon. As others have stated, the best deal appears to be $295 per year IF you sign up for two years. If you start an application but don't finish it, someone will contact you with this offer. Initiation fee was also waived over the phone.

On a semi-related note, I work in government and made no representations otherwise. This was never questioned and approval for FC was completed within 24 hours. Feel free to PM me if you need a code or have questions.

As long as your FoundersCard account is still enrolled (renewed) it should have updated (your Diamond account). I would contact FoundersCard with your Total Reward Diamond Number so they can get this taken care of.
