You are indeed correct - looks like there are three. Hopefully you found a better restaurant while here

Don't worry, I dined at Dishoom (Indian restaurant) just up the street.

I think I recall seeing that on another thread somewhere, or maybe I'm spending too much time on FT...

Just a little bit farther up that street you would have passed Cantina Laredo. That's one of our guilty favorites. Not a whole lot of Mexican food to be found here, comparatively speaking

I put Jack in the Box on my blacklist many years ago when they killed a few people with food poisoning. Now I've added Chipotle to the list.

Since they are closed this afternoon...

Send a text message to 888-222 with "raincheck" in the body. You will get a link to fill out a brief form (name and zip code), and you will then get texted a coupon for a free burrito "in a few days".

Edited to add: it took almost 20 minutes for me to get a reply.

Cool I wouldn't eat Chipotle even if they gave it away

Well, OK, maybe...

Did mine. Free burrito sounds good to me!

I just texted and got "Darn, you just missed it."

I used to go once a week and stopped going. The reality is I miss what I used to eat and am having a hard time not going back...

After a 4 month absence due to E. Coli situation (I've even been avoiding it in airports where it used to be the clear favorite), I got the freebie and used it tonight (though they were being quite skimpy on the chicken). It's been been ~5.5 hours and so far it seems I am E. Coli free.

Apart from the skimpy chicken it may have been enough to convince me to start going again.

Ate at the premises or had take out with US based family members four or five times during my three weeks US trip. Delicious as ever and still my favorite chain outside of Japan.

I definitely enjoyed my burrito bowl last week, made tastier by the freeness of it.
