Some of us still earn Delta miles with this card or may want information about past or grandfathered terms and conditions.

Please do not spread panic about miles not posting until after the 10th of each month.
In most cases, miles post in the evening on the 5th of each month if it's a business day, or else the evening of the next business day. "Miles post for purchases made between (inclusive) 5th day of prior month to 4th day of current month."

All transactions (online and local) done on last Friday the 24th finally posted last night as Monday the 27th. NO points I assume.

Last edited by uds0; Jul 28, 2015 at 2:33 pm Reason: prior points exceed 2k, so no points after 25th

Nothing has posted for me since July 6. Why assume half points? What does your spend vs points look like?

I believe they meant that the "purchases" did not settle in time to his Suntrust account before the changes took effect on the 25th. Therefore they missed gettting points for those transactions most likely.

I have 7/23 charges from Evolve that did the same thing. I expected 7/23 to be a safe date, but it was not. I also made charges on 7/24 as a gamble. Everything was left pending until today. Like yours, they posted as 7/27.

I expect to receive nothing for any of this. Although you suggested "half points," if they adhere to the terms, there's a monthly limit that was already reached by 7/23.

Maybe we'll get lucky and 7/25 was just a padded date to account for lags like this.

My plan is to leave just enough funds to avoid the monthly fee and get the 2k points a month. Next year when my renewal comes up its already scheduled in my calendar to close my account.

Yep, I'm in the exact same boat. I had 30k+ after the 17th I'm expecting. We shall see. From there it's the attempt to upgrade to Signature Advantage so I can keep getting 4k a month.

Same here, unless I find that MSing $4k a month is easy enough to warrant earning the 24k miles a year net of the $95 fee. That is to be determined. I'm not touching the card until July miles post b/c I want to see how everything credits from the final month.

Yes same here. Fully up to date including purchases that posted on the 23rd. Stopped spending on the 22nd so this should be it for me.
