Codeshare is when airline XX is allowed to put its own flight number on a YY airline operated flight to sell tickets on it easily. So the flight ends up with a YYyyyy and XXxxxx flgiht number. This counts as a YY flight.

FTL with M&M gets an extra bag with M&M airlines so on EN and LG too.

Whats your 4leg trip exactly?
Normally it is:

- LUX-MUC (Can be either LG or LH regional)
- MUC-BRI (EN)
- BRI-MUC (EN)
- MUC-LUX (Can be either LG or LH regional)

Sometimes an image explain better than the words

Only the first one is operated by LH Cityline

Based on the MSC rule, when you check in for LH2321 you would get the baggage benefits even for the subsequent EN leg. But on the way back if you fly EN first then no extra baggage applies.

That's a pity.......so I should book flight that always has the first segment with one *A carrier, isn't it?

Sorry....what "MSC" stands for?

Here I am again

I booked 2 flights with LX (both with 4 segments in K) to reach the FT status (and plus the 3k already in my pocket I'm 13k from the goal).

I was checking the flights number and I realized I have flight starting with 1, 7 and 9
Do you confirm I will get the flat 500 miles per segment?

Thanks

PS: as I will start the journey tomorrow morning it will be very appreciate if you can answer me at your earliest convenience

In other words, if we can't answer to your satisfaction, will you cancel your flights?

Time ago I realised that not all LH flights give miles to A3
For example the LH6xxx should be operated by LG and gives no miles.

I'm wondering if the same is with LX

A quick question about flight with same number..

how about this:

UA 4903 from EWR to PIT, then 30 minutes later,
UA 4903 PIT - EWR.

Will this count as zero miles?

Thank you.

In which class did you book it?
If it's in O, I, X, R, N, P you will get 0 miles
Btw as the flight number is the same it will count as 1 flight

You are right.
II thought op was talking about a "technical stop" in other airport to let other people boarding (as luxair does when stop in saarbrucken).
II didn't understand he was meaning the rt
